We are all trying to find ways of turning our grief and shock into practical assistance. There have been many fundraising events and informal community collections. Affected communities will require ongoing support and we will all continue to provide this in many and varied ways. My condolences to all affected families and communities.
Life has become a little busier with the addition of a new role - President of the Victorian Local Governance Association. This new role will provide opportunities to advocate on behalf of councils and communities across Victoria - as well as Moonee Valley. I will continue to serve the community of Moonee Valley.
