From the figures on the AEC website this afternoon, it appears that at least 4000 Indi voters have cast their ballot in favour of the Liberals/Nationals in the Senate, but not for Sophie Mirabella in the House of Representatives.
A total of 38,667 people voted for the Liberals/Nationals ticket in the Senate, but only 34,592 votes have been counted for Ms Mirabella.
On current figures, 80,806 votes have been counted in the House of Representatives, but only 78,717 votes have been counted in the Senate. 31 fewer ordinary votes are registered in the Senate, but 2000 more postal votes have been counted in the House of Representatives.
The 4000 vote gap between the Lib/Nat Senate vote could grow as the rest of the postal Senate votes are counted.
Whether Ms Mirabella ends up winning, 10 per cent of her Coalition constituents have swung against her.
